Workshop 1G: STEM in Your Early Childhood Classroom (repeat from 2014)
Pat Scanlon attended UMass/Amherst, where she received a B.A. in Human Development. She has been a respected member of the greater New York Early Childhood Community since 1993.
Pat became a Lakeshore consultant in 2014, after 13 years experience as Lakeshore’s Regional Manager in New York City and Long Island. Her knowledge and experience has benefited programs throughout the region; including Head Starts, NYS Universal Pre-K programs, Early Learn NYC sites, and numerous other Early Childhood programs looking to align lessons and activities to program curricula and federal, state and local standards. She has provided “hands-on” Professional Development workshops for hundreds of programs, and uses current trends in Early Childhood Education to enrich and expand the workshop experience.
