Workshop 1T: Conquering the Essay Pile: Exploring Approaches to Meaningful and Timely Feedback in the Language Arts Classroom
Michelle C Walker has spent the last 13 years teaching English in Connecticut and NYC classrooms. As a PhD candidate in the Literacy, Language and Learning program at Fordham University, Michelle studies the motivating factors of digital writing primarily in the lives of adolescent boys. She has presented at NCTE twice and is excited to present again this fall. She currenly teaches in the New Canaan Public Schools in New Canaan, CT, but has also taught in Monroe, CT and New Heights Academy Charter School in NYC. Michelle also enjoys spending time with her two young sons.
