Dr. Jonathan Laabs
Workshop 1M: Global Lutheran Education - Engaging the World Through Mission
Dr. Jonathan Laabs has served in various teaching and leadership capacities in Lutheran education for 39 years. He was teacher and building administrator in Lutheran schools in Texas and Michigan for 15 years, served as Director of Teacher Education at Concordia University, Ann Arbor and, for the past 15 years has served as Executive Director of Lutheran Education Association. Dr. Laabs is a frequent presenter at district, national and international conferences; serves on several district and national boards and committees; and teaches as an adjunct professor at Concordia University, Chicago, where he received his BA (1977) and MA (1980). He earned his Doctor of Education degree from The University of Michigan with an emphasis in Instructional Technology.
