Bethany Wilinski is an Assistant Professor of Teacher Education at Michigan State University. She has a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction and Educational Policy Studies, and her research focuses on understanding the implications of educational policy for preK teachers and students in the United States and Tanzania. At MSU, Bethany teaches courses for pre-service elementary school teachers about issues of diversity in education. She is a product of Lutheran schools and, in addition to her preschool teaching experience, has taught 2nd grade and kindergarten in Lutheran schools in Tanzania and Long Island.
