Workshop 1A: Creating a Culturally Responsive Classroom
Deborah Carter teaches in the education department at Concordia College New York. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Carter was a tenured elementary school teacher in Groton, Connecticut and has taught in higher education since 2001.
Katherine Roe is an Assistant Professor for Childhood Education/Special Education Graduate Studies at Concordia College-NY. Ms. Roe’s research interests include language development students with Autism, Developmental delays, and English Language Learners.
