Carl Forbes completed both his Baccalaureate and his Master’s degrees at Le Moyne College, a right-sized Jesuit college in Syracuse, NY.
In his career, Mr. Forbes has taught Social Studies (5 years), offered college counseling for 12th graders (11 years), provided freshman admission counseling on the college level (12 years), and has worked for the Upward Bound program (19 years). For the last nine years Mr. Forbes has been a Consultant and Account Manager for ACT, working with secondary schools and auxiliary programs to interpret and incorporate data into practice; and with colleges and universities to better use ACT data when making admission, placement and retention decisions.
Carl’s main motivation is college access and won’t hesitate to be involved with programs and events where the goal is to promote awareness and access to postsecondary education as well as success after enrollment.
